Help from the person who built it

Short answers to the common questions, and an email that reaches a human.

Getting started

Open the app, answer the four onboarding questions (each can be skipped) and tap Start my first report. Your answers pick a layout, the report sections and a set of starter snippets.

The + button on the Dashboard offers New report or New report from a checklist.

Working offline

Everything works without a signal: capture, markup, checklists, the map tiles you have already seen, and generating the PDF and Excel.

If you are signed in, changes sync when you are back online. If you are not, nothing leaves the phone unless you share a file.

PDF and Excel reports

Tap Generate on a report and choose PDF, Excel or Both. The layout decides what both files contain. Edit layouts under Profile, Output layouts.

Photos print whole and upright. A layout too wide for portrait prints landscape or as cards, and says so at the bottom of the page.

The map and your route

Each finding is pinned where its photo was taken. Open the Pin row on a finding to move it, use your position, or open it in Apple Maps or Google Maps.

Route recording starts when Capture opens, if it is on in Profile. The route stays on the phone. A route map page prints into the outputs unless you switch it off in the layout.

Accounts and sign-in

An account is optional. Sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft, or with a six-digit code sent to your work email. The code expires after ten minutes.

Signing out keeps your reports on the phone. To delete your account and synced data, email us from the address below until in-app deletion ships.

Sharing and exporting

Share from the iPhone share sheet, or, signed in, copy a link that works for 7, 30 or 90 days. Anyone with the link can download that one file until it expires.

Export everything (zip) on a report, or Export all reports in Profile, gives you the photos, a JSON file and a CSV.
